Dr. Cora Salvino was born in Chicago, IL. She was one of 4 children, 3 girls and a boy. She was the second daughter.
Dr. Cora Salvino attended Purdue University and graduated with Honors in biology. She then attended Chicago Medical School (now Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science). She started her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.
Following her husband to Florida for a job transfer, she finished her residency in 1983 at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1987. While living in Georgia, Dr. Cora Salvino got involved meeting the needs of rape victims in Gwinnett County. She and a friend founded the Gwinnett Rape Crisis Center where Dr. Salvino served as medical director until moving in 1998.
She is married and has 4 children. Until recently she has worked as an employed physician while raising her children. She is eager to start her own practice to create an environment of Women’s Health Care with “a woman’s touch.”
Her hobbies are horseback riding, reading, and working with stained glass.
Catherine became a registered nurse after graduating from high school and has worked as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings including labor and delivery in Detroit Michigan.
Catherine returned to school to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Michigan. Her husband’s change in employment and a move to Pennsylvania gave Catherine the opportunity to again return to school obtaining her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from De Sales University.
Catherine has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2005, working first in a large OB/GYN clinic and then in a family practice clinic in Pennsylvania. A change in her husband’s career brought another opportunity for change and relocation to Casper Wyoming in December 2011.
Catherine is married with two adult sons. She enjoys cooking, sewing, reading, counted cross stitch and target shooting.
Dr. Carrie Merrill was raised in Swan Valley, Idaho, on a quarter horse ranch. She received her undergraduate degree from Idaho State University. After attending medical school at the University of Health Science in Kansas City, Missouri, she completed her residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
She provides care for all women’s healthcare needs including pregnancy, infertility, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and holistic approaches. She has a special interest in and is highly trained in minimally invasive robotic surgeries.
Dr. Merrill is also a published novelist in young adult fiction, and she also enjoys oil painting and jewelry making. She has a great love for the outdoors and believes her rescue cats are the center of her world.
